Did Putin promise not to kill Zelenskyy?
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett claims that at the beginning of the full-scale war with Ukraine, Putin promised him not to kill Zelenskyy
It happened in March 2022 during Bennett's visit to Moscow.
According to the former Israeli prime minister, he asked a direct question about the possible assassination of the Ukrainian president. Putin, he said, replied: “I am not going to kill Zelenskyy.” Bennett insisted that the Russian president give him his word, and Putin repeated that he would not do so.
After the meeting, the former prime minister, as he himself claims, called Zelenskyy, who was hiding in a secret bunker at the time, and told him that he was not in danger. A few hours later, the Ukrainian president posted a video from his office, Bennett said.
“Over the course of the year, Zelenskyy's entourage spoke of at least 10 attempts on the life of the President of Ukraine. Among those who wanted to kill the president of Ukraine were Kadyrov soldiers, Wagner mercenaries and representatives of Russian special services.”
Over the course of the year, Zelenskyy's entourage spoke of at least 10 attempts on the life of the President of Ukraine. Kadyrov soldiers, Wagner mercenaries and representatives of Russian special services were among those who wanted to kill the president of Ukraine. Biden's biographer, Chris Whipple, recently publicly stated that there were 12 attempts on Zelenskyy's life. Moreover, even before the full-scale invasion, CIA Director William Burns flew to Kyiv for a secret visit and told Zelenskyy about the Russians' plans to kill the Ukrainian president.
Whipple says: Zelenskyy was stunned, and it was this information that helped prevent at least two assassination attempts.
“I know for sure that Putin's words cannot be trusted. And there are three reasons for this. The first is that Putin always lies. The second is that Putin always lies. And the third reason is that Putin always lies.”
Only Bennett knows why this story has surfaced now. But it is obvious that this statement plays into the hands of Moscow and the president of Russia personally. Bennett, consciously or not, played along with Putin. Like, look how humane he is – thinking about Zelenskyy's life. Although the fact that the leader of one country decides with the leader of another whether the president of another country should live or die no longer resembles international politics, but a typical 'gathering of criminals'.
And one more thing. I know for sure that Putin's words cannot be trusted. And there are three reasons for this. The first is that Putin always lies. The second is that Putin always lies. And the third reason is that Putin always lies.
