Crimean bridge isn't fully restored, part of cargo is transported by ferry – Chubarov
Refat Chubarov, head of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, says that ferries started operating after the Crimean bridge was blown up, and before that, the connection was only via the bridge
Refat Chubarov commented on the current state and functioning of the Crimean bridge on Espreso TV.
“The occupying Russian forces are hiding all information about the state of the Crimean bridge. We know that the railroad connection has been restored across the bridge, but there are questions about the load that trains can carry. However, the fact that the bridge has not been restored to its full potential is an indication that they are maintaining ferry service between the territory of Russia and occupied Crimea. I would like to point out that the ferry service started working after the Crimean bridge was blown up, and before that it did not work,” the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people said.
Refat Chubarov summarized that the ferry service takes over some of the cargo transportation that the Crimean bridge cannot provide now.

On February 24, Russians blocked the Crimean bridge a day after it was opened, making it impossible to leave the illegally annexed peninsula.
