Russians close Kerch bridge day after opening, it is impossible to leave peninsula

"Due to repair work on the railway bridge, traffic on the Crimean bridge will be suspended from 11:00 to 12:00 (Moscow time) on February 24, 2023," the agency writes.

It is reported that it will be impossible to leave the peninsula in the direction of Krasnodar by rail or road.

The publication notes that the Russians blocked the illegal crossing a day after Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the bridge had been repaired: "We have completely restored traffic for motor vehicles."

In addition, in Crimea, on the evening of February 23, unidentified persons damaged a railroad track, which resulted in the suspension of several trains - there was no explosion, but a piece of rail was cut out with a welding machine.
