Civilians injured, 1 fatality, in Russian shelling of Kharkiv – Synegubov
On Thursday, April 28, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv region and Kharkiv, with civilians killed and injured, and civilian infrastructure damaged in the assault
Regional Military Administration Head Oleg Synegubov shared the details of the situation in his Telegram channel.
"In the Kharkiv region, Russians shelled civilian infrastructure, village streets, squares and even cemeteries. As a result of the strikes, a building collapsed in one settlement in the region. According to preliminary data, the people who were rescued from the rubble have minor injuries, so there is no need for hospitalization", the statement says.
Four people were injured and one killed in the Kharkiv region. Information is still being gathered and verified. Emergency medical personnel and rescue services are currently on the scene.
In the afternoon, the Russians fired on Kharkiv’s eastern districts, one person was killed and two were injured.
Synegubov again urged people not to ignore the air raid sirens.
