China will "swallow" Russia with little care - diplomat Ohryzko
Volodymyr Ohryzko, Ukrainian diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2007 to 2009, head of the Center for Russian Studies, notes that the ICC decision has turned Putin into a living political corpse
He shared his opinions on Espreso TV’s Verdict with Serhiy Rudenko programme.
"Russia, which used to serve the energy needs of the West, is now turning its attention to energy services to China. We are no longer talking about centers of influence with a pole in Moscow. The leader of Russia is a person who has been invited to come to the Hague, and this invitation is open-ended. It is obvious that Putin feels extremely bad. The ICC's decision has turned Putin into a living political corpse," emphasized Ohryzko.
The diplomat also emphasized that Putin does not look into Xi Jinping's eyes, and this is a sign of psychological weakness.
"There are hyenas in world politics who will gladly eat such food. In this case, China is acting as a hyena that will swallow with little care of what it has eaten. Russia, which has claimed to be a world leader, is losing before our eyes, and this is only the beginning of the process. For Xi Jinping, the visit to Moscow is toxic. He came only to bind Russia to him even more. To make sure that Putin knows his place," Ohryzko summarized.
