Chernihiv pensioner gets medal for shooting at Russian Su-34 fighter jet
Pensioner Valery Fedorovych from Chernihiv has been awarded a medal for the downed plane
This was announced on the website of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
"In March, when the Russian occupiers continuously bombarded Chernihiv, pensioner Valery Fedorovych took his rifle and opened fire," the statement reads.
The pensioner, who shot at the Russian Su-34 fighter, was awarded the medal "For assistance in the protection of the state border".
