Blinken promises Kuleba US will strengthen Ukraine's military position
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken promises Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister, that Washington will do everything to strengthen Ukraine's military and diplomatic positions.
The US State Department reports.
During a telephone conversation with Dmytro Kuleba, Anthony Blinken reiterated the message of US President Joe Biden that the United States will always respect Ukraine's internationally recognized borders and continue to support Ukraine's efforts to regain control over its territory by strengthening its military and diplomatic positions.
Blinken and Kuleba also discussed Moscow's latest illegal and illegitimate attempts to change Ukraine's borders by force, as well as the growing atrocities committed by Russian forces against the Ukrainian people, including war crimes and human rights abuses.
Blinken briefed Kuleb on U.S. security assistance, including the $1.1 billion package announced this week, as well as future supplies. They also discussed the functioning of "grain corridors" and the safety of Ukrainian nuclear facilities.
