Being in eye of hurricane, we don't comprehend its scale

It is said that often a person in the very epicenter of a hurricane is relatively calm and cannot feel its destructive power and assess the scale that is visible from afar.

In terms of information, Ukrainians are at the epicenter of the hurricane and, paradoxically, have perhaps the least access to information about the hurricane itself, an assessment of its scale and, most importantly, the processes that are taking place in it.

I don't understand much anymore, I just analyze what I see.

Western journalists are trying to give their audiences and societies a more or less balanced assessment of events in Ukraine, while ours have all turned into current chroniclers and simply describe daily micro-events. As a result, we have the opportunity to see every element of the mosaic from all angles with beautiful illustrations, but we have no idea what the panel that makes up the mosaic looks like. And what paintings are currently deployed on it.

We are sitting in a compartment of a train that is rushing at high speed, trying to understand what kind of world is outside the window and what is happening to it.
