Bayraktar plant to concentrate production capacity on Ukrainian army's needs - Reznikov
Since February 24, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received up to 50 Bayraktar TB2 reconnaissance drones from the Turkish company Baykar.
The Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov shared the update.
According to the Minister, from February 24, the Defense Ministry of Defense has put up to 50 military Bayraktars in service. Several more have already been contacted and paid and are expected in July. The Ministry also received a new request from the Armed Forces Command, according to which almost all the capacity of the Baykar Makina plant will be focused on meeting the needs of the Ukrainian military in the near future. We are talking about ordering dozens of more drones.
"I never get tired of saying: we are united, strong, courageous and motivated. No army can defeat a nation that is so united… Today we are a symbol of victory and freedom, a symbol of a democratic free world. We are united, and with us the whole world, in the pursuit of victory. And that's exactly what will happen," Reznikov said.
