Baerbock addresses Lavrov at G20 summit: "Stop bombing Ukrainian cities"
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock called on Sergey Lavrov to stop aggression against Ukraine at the meeting of G20 foreign ministers
This is reported by Zeit.
“It is good that you are here in the hall and listening. Stop this war. Stop violating our international order. Stop bombing Ukrainian cities and civilians. Stop the war. Not in a month or a year, but today. Because every family that loses a father, a brother, a mother, a child, loses the whole world,” Baerbock said, looking at Lavrov.
She added that “there is not a single place in the world where the Russian war has had positive consequences.”
It is worth noting that last year in Bali, Lavrov left the hall where the G20 summit was taking place in response to criticism. This time, he remained seated, the publication writes.

Earlier, the EU delegation said it would not support a statement at the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in India if it did not condemn Russia's war against Ukraine.
