This was stated by Bulgaria's acting Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov.
He confirmed that on September 27, Ambassador of Ukraine Vitaly Moskalenko appealed to Bulgaria for help in the country's defense for the second time.
"My answer to the question about weapons was short and clear. They asked for heavy weapons, not small arms or munitions. I will not supply heavy weapons as long as I am a minister and until the decision of the parliament is changed," Stoyanov said.
He also clarified that there are no direct threats to involve Bulgaria in the conflict. "The only danger that existed until now and still exists is free-drifting mines," Dimitar Stoyanov added.
