International relations expert Evhen Dobryak stated this on Espreso.
Dobryak emphasized that China has been Ukraine's security guarantor since the country relinquished its third nuclear potential. He noted that on December 4, 1994, the government of the People's Republic of China issued a statement outlining its commitment to Ukraine's security guarantees as part of the country's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Additionally, a joint declaration between Ukraine and China on deepening their strategic relations reaffirmed this commitment.
Dobryak believes that this is a significant and crucial factor for Ukraine's security and must be utilized.
