Antonivka Road Bridge stands, but Ukrainian armed forces control all crossings near it - Oleksandr Samoilenko

This was stated by the chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Oleksandr Samoilenko, on the air of Espreso channel.

According to him, it is unknown who exactly fired at it: the invaders or the Ukrainian Armed Forces who controlled the enemy's withdrawal. The bridge stands, but the pontoon crossings are under the control of the Ukrainian military.

"I am sure this is the beginning of a big battle for Kherson. All the events that are taking place inspire a common hope of Kherson residents for their release as soon as possible," said  Samoilenko.
