Ukrainian Military Portal writes that the M270 has a launch system mounted on a tracked chassis borrowed from the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle. The launcher can fire a variety of 227-mm artillery rockets, including high-precision, as well as short-range ballistic missiles from the Army's ATACMS tactical missile system.
A single M270 can be loaded with two such modules simultaneously, allowing it to fire up to 12 missiles or two ATACMS missiles before needing to reload (in HIMARS 6).
