Ambassador to UK says Ukrainian pilots are already training on Western aircraft
Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko says Ukrainian pilots are already being trained to operate Western fighter jets, to be supplied to Ukraine in the near future
He shared the information on the United News national telethon on February 10.
"Not only aircraft is in question, but different platforms. I would not want to prepare Russia for what awaits them in the near future," Prystaiko said.
"Britain has already calculated what they can give us. This is how they work," he added.
The diplomat said that Ukrainian soldiers are already being trained to operate Western fighter jets and emphasized that the pilots are "preparing for specific systems that we will receive in the near future."
"When President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the wings of freedom, everyone understood what kind of wings he meant," the ambassador summarized.
