Poland is ready to provide Ukraine with modern fighter jets, but NATO member states with more aircraft in stock should go first
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced this on February 9, upon arriving at the summit of EU leaders in Brussels.
"Our position here is unequivocal. We can only unite within the framework of the entire NATO. If such a decision is made, we will not be the first to provide fighter jets, but we will certainly respond positively to it," Morawiecki said.
He emphasized that the countries that have more fighter jets could be the first to provide Ukraine with them.
Morawiecki noted that Poland does not have enough fighter jets, therefore, they have ordered new F-35s.
