He shared his stance on the United News telethon following a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Italy, reports European Pravda.

Kuleba refused to go into the details of the proposal of US House Speaker Mike Johnson, but recalled his words that "we do not need a plan B, because our plan A is to make the strongest decisions for Ukraine, not half-decisions."

"And today I reminded the Secretary of State (Antony Blinken - ed.) of this: look, I have no plan B, plan A must work - the adoption of a strong bill. And he supported me and said that we should focus exclusively on strong solutions for Ukraine, that is, on Plan A," the Foreign Minister added.

"But so many spears have already been broken and so many battles have taken place around this bill - and will continue to take place - that let's just wait for the result," Kuleba summarized.

  • On April 12, it is reported that Mike Johnson is in talks with the White House about Republican amendments to the aid package for Ukraine and Israel.
  • On April 15, 91 congressmen representing both parties signed a letter in the US House of Representatives calling on Speaker Mike Johnson to introduce the Senate-approved bill to aid Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan to the parliament for an "immediate vote."
  • House Speaker Mike Johnson has proposed dividing the international aid bill into 4 separate parts, including aid to Ukraine. The Biden administration is ready to consider the initiative.
  • After a secret meeting on the situation in Ukraine on April 16, representatives of the US House of Representatives Intelligence Committee called on Congress to immediately vote for aid to Kyiv, as the situation is critical.
  • Speaker of the House Mike Johnson promised to put a bill containing aid to Ukraine to a vote on Saturday, April 20. US President Joe Biden promised to sign it immediately.
