Ukraine to receive €118 million in military aid from Finland
Finland will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth about €118 million
The Finnish Defense Ministry reported the information.
The agency noted that this is the 25th package of defense assistance to Ukraine. The cost of the new batch is estimated at about €118 million. In total, Finland has already provided defense assistance to Ukraine totaling €2.3 billion.
"The military situation in Ukraine remains serious. As promised, Finland will continue to provide material assistance. Our message to our partner countries is that we must not give up," emphasized Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen.
For security reasons, information about the content of the aid, its delivery methods, and the delivery schedule is not disclosed.
Both the needs of Ukraine and the resources of the Finnish army were taken into account when deciding to provide additional assistance.
