Lithuania partners with Taiwan to deliver portable batteries to Ukrainian troops
The Lithuanian Blue/Yellow Foundation, together with a partner from Taiwan, has provided portable batteries to the Ukrainian military
The batteries were specially designed and manufactured in Taiwan to meet the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.
“Now, every person in the world has to be a little bit Ukrainian. It's not about helping Ukrainians. It's a lot more. A huge thanks to Taiwan and its people, as well as our friends there, who created this unique solution specifically for Ukraine,” Blue/Yellow Foundation said in a statement.
As of now, 12 air defense units and the Main Intelligence Directorate have been supplied with these batteries. The defenders of Ukraine no longer have to worry about a lack of power while carrying out their missions.
There’s no need for an outlet — these batteries can be used anywhere: in dugouts, trenches, or at the front lines with a machine gun or a spotlight. Devices, UAV, spotlights easily plug in and charge.
These portable batteries are resistant to both moisture and extreme temperatures, working even at -40°C.
“When you're out in the field and need to charge something crucial to our victory, something that destroys the enemy, these batteries are absolutely invaluable — sometimes even life-saving. When the generators run out of fuel, this little device keeps going, helping us get closer to victory,” the Ukrainian servicemen added.
Even with over 8,000 kilometers separating the countries, Taiwan continues to support Ukraine’s fight against the Russian aggressor.
