Agri-businesses in Odesa, Mykolaiv regions conclude wheat harvest
Ukrainian farmers have collected 17.5 million tons of grain
This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
"Agricultural producers in 11 regions of Ukraine have completely finished threshing peas, and farmers in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions have completed 99% of wheat harvesting. 2.5 million tons of grain have been threshed in the Odesa region, and 2 million tons in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Agrarian farms in the Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions collected 1.6 million tons of grain each, the Kropyvnytskyi region - 1.4 million tons, and Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions threshed more than 1 million tons of grain each", it is noted.
They also add that grain and leguminous crops were harvested on an area of 4.8 million hectares (41%) with a yield of 36.4 t/ha, 17.5 million tons of grain were threshed, including:

3.5 million hectares of wheat were threshed, with a yield of 36.0 c/ha, 12.6 million tons were threshed;

1.3 million hectares of barley were threshed with a yield of 33.8 tons/ha, 4.4 million tons were threshed;

101 thousand hectares of peas were threshed, with a yield of 22.4 tons/ha, 226 thousand tons were threshed.
In addition, winter rape was harvested on an area of 929,000 hectares (79%), 2.5 million tons of seeds were threshed with a yield of 26.8 tons/ha.
"Agricultural producers of Odesa region threshed 2.5 million tons of grain, the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions threshed more than 1 million tons of grain each. The highest yield of grain and leguminous crops among farmers of the Ivano-Frankivsk region is 61.2 t/ha", the Ministry of Agrarian Policy added.
