Acquired helplessness syndrome
Medvedev seems to have overslept on one important point: the question of the existence of Russia itself has not only arisen, it is already being "solved"
Following the "strange" Putin (strange because several observers noticed turns of phrase and gestures uncharacteristic of the bunker leader), who voiced an even more strange (for yesterday's alpha male) version of the disappearance of the Russian, the petty drunkard who is deputy security chief of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, rushed to talk about the consequences. His latest opus in Izvestia, however, indicates a certain lack of synchronization in the stages of emotional health of the Russian elite. Putin, interestingly, is already at the stage of accepting the sad reality: the collapse of his own plans in Ukraine and beyond, the inevitability of Russia's military defeat in its confrontation with the West. Medvedev, on the other hand, has not yet passed the point of "denial"- well, it is not known, however, when he recovered from another alcoholic "abyss."

Medvedev, on the other hand, has not yet passed the point of "denial" — well, it is not known, however, when he recovered from another alcoholic "abyss."
"If the question of the existence of Russia itself really arises, it will not be resolved on the Ukrainian front," says the small-town Cassandra. - "And along with the question of the further existence of the entire human civilization. And there should be no ambiguity here. We do not need a world without Russia."
"They" may not need it, but the rest of the world does. Medvedev seems to have overlooked one important point: the question of the existence of Russia itself has not only arisen, but is already being "resolved." And Medvedev is right: it is being resolved not only in Ukraine. And it seems that the deputy head of the Security Council is perhaps the only one in Russia who does not understand this. Perhaps he is overly concerned about his level of closeness to Putin (it is said that after several hysterical posts on Telegram, the "leader" began to invite him to various "events" more often). It should be said that the idea is clearly futile - Putin is playing with the loyalty of his men, from time to time changing his anger to mercy, "rotating", so to speak, the circle of interlocutors responsible for the special military operation. These rotations have led the "father of the nation" to believe in Russia’s end.
One could assume that the verbal passages about the "disappearance of Russians" are intended to mobilize the population of the "empire" and revive at least the most primitive survival instinct in their brains. However, it seems that there is no room left in those brains even for it, instead, the so-called "acquired helplessness syndrome" dominates.

However, it seems that there is no room left in those brains even for it, instead, the so-called "acquired helplessness syndrome" dominates. In any case, in the infantile majority that worships Putin in Luzhniki, gets drunk to the accompaniment of patriotic marches, and is happy with the fur coats and "gifts" that the government uses to compensate families for the loss of breadwinners in the senseless war in the Ukrainian steppes. Those capable of the instinct of self-survival have long since crossed the borders of Russia (which, according to Putin's recent opinion, do not end), and will somehow wait out the "disappearance of Russians" there.
I have already written that one of the markers that the Russian elites have reached the point of "acceptance" of the obvious collapse and are also suffering from the "acquired helplessness syndrome" is the activation of the so-called liberal Russian opposition. And perhaps not because the foreign exiles felt that Putin's time was running out, and therefore, naively, they were given a chance to compete for power. In my opinion, we are rather dealing with another special operation. This time, the FSB, which, together with Putin, has won Russia for itself and clearly has no intention of losing it, no matter within what borders. If Navalny suddenly "woke up" in the distant Pokrovskaya colony, this "political prisoner" began to adjust his "political program" on his knee (crossing out, in particular, "Crimea is not a sandwich" and writing that the peninsula is Ukrainian), this should not be seen as "enlightenment". It is a "starting shot" for those who see Navalny as a real competitor in the struggle to divide the tasty pie. That's why Khodorkovsky, Ponomarev and others are worried. And in unison with the "great martyr" Navalny, they began to conjure up the world to "save Russia." To save it for them, the "white and fluffy," for the "Russian people," who, you see, do not owe God a soul, because "it's all Putin."

What can we say? It is clear that those who have been "sitting in the tank" (hears nothing, sees nothing and knows nothing - ed.) and have only now “woke up”, despite their undoubted intellectual capabilities, are also struck by their "acquired helplessness." Because they fell for a simple FSB bait. In addition, there is a suspicion that they would continue to be in a state of "feigned prostration" if Russian affairs at the front were successful. And why not actually return Malorossia to its empire? On the contrary, it would give them a greater incentive to fight for Putin's legacy at some point in the foreseeable future.
But, as the head of Putin's first election campaign, political scientist Gleb Pavlovsky, who went to the "Kobzon concert" (died - ed.) yesterday, said, "I hesitated a lot as a child. I wanted to be a magician, a doctor, a lover, and a port director. I tried everything except the last one...". I hope that in this case, it will not be the FSB puppets who decide who will be the "director of the Russian port".
