20 trucks with wounded Russian soldiers arrive in one settlement of Luhansk region – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on June 5.

The settlement is located in the Svatove district, Luhansk region. It is noted that about 200 people are already being treated in this hospital.

The report says that in the Kupiansk direction, the Russian troops are forced to use civilian buildings in the Kharkiv region as morgues, but without proper equipment.

Ukrainian aviation launched 18 strikes on Russian military positions and 2 on air defense systems over the last day

Ukrainian troops also destroyed one enemy reconnaissance drone.

In turn, the missile and artillery units struck 2 control points, 10 manpower concentration areas, a munitions depot, an anti-aircraft missile system, as well as 3 enemy artillery units at firing positions.

Invading Russian forces launched 30 MLRS attacks against Ukraine

In addition, the enemy launched one missile strike and 19 airstrikes during the day. The attacks resulted in civilian casualties.

The Russian army continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Within the last day, 25 combat engagements took place. 

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line with mortars and artillery: 8 settlements in the Sumy region and 19 more in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

Shelling of Ukrainian regions

• In the Kupiansk direction, 9 settlements in the Kharkiv and Luhansk directions came under artillery fire. 
• In the Lyman direction, 7 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian shelling. 
• In the Bakhmut direction, 10 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 
• In the Avdiivka direction, 7 settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled. 
• In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 assaults of the invading Russian forces, however, 5 settlements of the Donetsk region came under shelling. 
• In the Shakhtarsk direction, 4 localities in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire. 
• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, 24 cities and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army. 

On Monday, June 5, invading Russian forces attacked Balaklia in the Kharkiv region, killing one person and injuring eight others.
