Ammunition, anti-drones, UAVs, generators: Lithuania supplies new military aid package to Ukraine
On May 17, Lithuania announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which included ammunition, anti-drones, drones, generators and other equipment
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reported the information.
"Lithuania continues to provide uninterrupted military support to Ukraine," the ministry emphasized.
The new aid package includes 5.56×45 mm rounds, ammunition, anti-drones, drones, 100 kW generators, and folding beds.
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense also reminded that, in response to Ukraine's requests, Lithuania has already delivered 155 mm ammunition, M577 armored personnel carriers, anti-drone systems, equipment and warm clothing sets necessary for the winter season, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, RISE-1 remote control, explosive systems, generators, a light attack aircraft, a disassembled L-39ZA Albatros aircraft, and other supplies.
"Lithuania's support for Ukraine is long-term and already amounts to one billion euros. Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military support worth about EUR 616 million. During this year, support has already been provided for about 95 million euros, and it is expected that this support dynamics will continue," the ministry summarized.
