Two MiG-31, Su-27, MiG-29 aircraft: Russian targets destroyed in Belbek
CEO of Defense Express Serhiy Zgurets noted that Russian military and energy facilities remain a priority target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Zgurets said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Last night there were several attacks on Russian energy and military facilities by air and sea drones. Speaking of Tuapse, it was a drone called the Lutyi. This development has a range of 1,000 km. We can see that the drone hit the Tuapse oil refinery. This suggests that these facilities remain a priority for the Ukrainian Armed Forces," Zgurets said.
According to the military expert, in addition to Tuapse, there were other attacks on Russian facilities on May 17.
"There was an attack on the port in Novorossiysk and a base where Ukrainian drones were also used. There was also an attack on Sevastopol, on Sevastopol Bay, on Balaklava, where Ukrainian air and sea drones were operating. It is likely that the Balaklava thermal power plant, which provides electricity to the occupying Russian forces, was hit. Ukrainian naval drones were also operating in the Sevastopol Bay. This suggests that these actions are complex and rely on technological solutions using unmanned systems," Zgurets said.
The military expert also added that the results of the ATACMS strikes on the Belbek airport in Crimea are already known.
"We already have satellite images that show that ATACMS missiles struck Belbek during two attacks, on the night of May 14-15 and May15-16. We already have confirmed data on the destruction of at least two MiG-31 aircraft, the destruction of a Su-27, probably a MiG-29, and the storage base that was at this airfield in Belbek," explained Zgurets.
