Lithuania to donate 6 AMBER 1800 radar systems to Ukraine as part of IAAD
As part of Germany's Immediate Action on Air Defense initiative, Lithuania announced the transfer of 6 AMBER 1800 radar systems to Ukraine

Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurynas Kasčiūnas said this during a meeting with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius, Ukrinform reports.
"The related delivery of six AMBER 1800 radar systems is Lithuania's contribution to saving lives in Ukraine. Thank you for your participation in our air defense initiative," Pistorius said.
Separately, the German Defense Minister praised Lithuania's support for Ukraine, calling its contribution unusually high.
For reference: Amber-1800 is a ground-based mobile radar station developed in Lithuania. It is designed to automatically detect airborne objects, their azimuth and range coordinates.
- On May 17, Lithuania announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which includes ammunition, anti-drones, drones, generators, and other equipment.
