Zelenskyy, Munich Security Forum, and Sherpas
I am also happy for our president now. But I want to remind you: Zaluzhnyi, the Armed Forces, and the entire civil society of Ukraine are Zelenskyy's Sherpas
Jomolungma is the highest peak in the world, and we memorized its height of 8,848 meters at school.
As a rule, people talk about Mt: Jomolungma or Everest.
I once wrote an essay at school about Colonel Everest and studied his biography for a long time.
He was the head of the British Survey of India in the 19th century.
And when his subordinates proved that Peak XV in the Himalayas is the highest peak in the world, they named it after their boss.
I hope they were not denied the award.
So the colonel became a mountain.
The first to reach the top of Mount Everest was the climber Edmund Hillary, who immortalized his name. And the Queen made him a knight.
And no one knows that when Ed Hillary was climbing the peak with the flag, a backpack with equipment was being carried by an unknown Sherpa.
And all the climbs to the peaks are still made (and glorified) by courageous and steadfast climbers.
And the Sherpas carry the equipment, gear, and food.
It's the same in politics.
Today is the annual security forum in Munich. There were many speeches there. And Ukraine was discussed the most.
Zelenskyy's speech was very successful.
Very successful!
“I want to remind you: Zaluzhnyi, the Armed Forces and the entire civil society of Ukraine are Zelenskyy's Sherpas. People are working hard so that Zelenskyy can be on a first-name basis with Scholz and Macron. And I'm worried: does Volodymyr Oleksandrovych understand the role of the Sherpas in history?”
Volodymyr Oleksandrovych's speechwriters are to be envied. But the main thing in his speech was: “Thank you, Olaf. Thank you, Emanuel.”
Zelenskyy made it clear to everyone that he is on a first-name basis with the leaders of the two most powerful countries in Europe.
If he still says later: “What's up, Rishi?”, “Where are the aircraft carriers, Joe?”, then this is a checkmate for Russia.
And if he ever says: “Shut that as*h*le up, Xi!”, the world will definitely be different.
Everyone is now happy for the power of our president. That's influence, that's grip. The greatest.
I am also happy for our president now.
But I want to remind you: Zaluzhnyi and the Armed Forces are Zelenskyy's Sherpas.
And the entire civil society of Ukraine.
People are working hard so that Zelenskyy can be on a first-name basis with Scholz and Macron.
And I am worried: does Volodymyr Oleksandrovych understand the role of the Sherpas in history?
And remember: the first to climb Everest was the Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
