Zelenskyy creates Advisory Council on Deoccupation, Reintegration of Crimea
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has created the Advisory Council on Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Russia-Occupied Territory of Crimea and Sevastopol
Decree №579/2022 was published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
The document states that the Advisory Council is a consultative and advisory body under the President of Ukraine.
The tasks of the newly created council are to prepare the provisions of the strategy of deoccupation and reintegration of the temporarily Russia-occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
In addition, making proposals regarding the priorities of activities on issues of deoccupation, reintegration and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, protection of the rights and interests of Ukrainians, as well as overcoming the consequences and compensation, in connection with the war and the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
Also: "Participation in the development of Ukraine's position on the key areas of activity of the "Crimean Platform" and the preparation of proposals for improving the legislation on issues related to the deoccupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol", it is noted.
