Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported the information on the United News national telethon.
He said that the Melitopol morgue is overcrowded: there is an advertisement in the city of a funeral home sending bodies to Russia.
In the village of Velyka Bilozerka, a local school was converted into a morgue. Fedorov added that an excavator of a local agricultural company is used to dig Russian mass graves.
In Tokmak, an intensive care unit is overcrowded with seriously injured Russian soldiers. On January 11, a refrigerated railway car filled with Russian bodies left the city for Volnovakha.
"Following the explosions in Melitopol lasting from January 7 to 8, the occupiers transported carriages of burnt military equipment towards Crimea yesterday . And on the way to the peninsula they made a cemetery of such equipment," said the mayor of Melitopol.
- Earlier, the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov reported on the situation in the city: another batch of Russian doctors arrived there. They are transferred to the temporarily occupied territories to provide assistance to Russian injured and sick servicemen.
