Zaporizhzhia region becomes hub for injured Russian military and their equipment

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported the information on the United News national telethon.

He said that the Melitopol morgue is overcrowded: there is an advertisement in the city of a funeral home sending bodies to Russia.

In the village of Velyka Bilozerka, a local school was converted into a morgue. Fedorov added that an excavator of a local agricultural company is used to dig Russian mass graves.

In Tokmak, an intensive care unit is overcrowded with seriously injured Russian soldiers. On January 11, a refrigerated railway car filled with Russian bodies left the city for Volnovakha.

"Following the explosions in Melitopol lasting from January 7 to 8, the occupiers transported  carriages of burnt military equipment towards Crimea yesterday . And on the way to the peninsula they made a cemetery of such equipment," said the mayor of Melitopol.

• Earlier, the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov reported on the situation in the city: another batch of Russian doctors arrived there. They are transferred to the temporarily occupied territories to provide assistance to Russian injured and sick servicemen.
