World's largest Ukrainian flag unfurled in Boston

On August 24th, in Boston's Millennium Park, the Ukrainian community and anyone interested took part in unveiling the largest Ukrainian flag globally

The Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England, the event's organizers, made this announcement.

Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine gathered for this special occasion. By displaying the world's largest Ukrainian flag in Boston, they marked Ukrainian Flag Day and Ukraine's Independence Day. This showcased their strong dedication to freedom and unity.

The flag's dimensions are 130 by 196 feet (nearly 40 by 60 meters), and it weighs more than 440 pounds (around 200 kilograms). Over 500 individuals participated in putting it on display.

This remarkable Ukrainian flag has been unfurled in the USA three times now. It was in New York last year and in Pennsylvania.
