What does China have to do with it...
The logic of the "Russian world" advocates is paradoxical
About the "Russian world".
I am greatly amused by the paradoxical way in which the logic of the “Russian world” advocates works.
I have a very close friend who grew up in a Russian-speaking environment. As a result of Russification, he consumed almost exclusively Russian content. He is a very smart, erudite, well-read person.
Along with Russian content, he received a full set of the young conspiracy theorist's lessons: everything is not so clear! They don't tell us everything! Everything has been decided about us long ago! And so on.
Today he talked about the end of globalization, the insignificance of Europe, the end of US hegemony, and the greatness of China. As an example, he cited how bad German cars are and what cool cars China is making now.
At the end of the conversation, we talked about his plans to change the country. Because now he lives in a decaying Europe. Well, I guessed he's going to say China! I was sitting there, ready to listen.
No! Australia and New Zealand are interesting.
- What about China? I ask.
- No, what does China have to do with it? he says…
