We pushed war to frontline

Did I read anything new in the Time article? No, I live in this every day

But I must give credit to the author. Despite the fact that he does not have the best reputation here, he was able to choose a couple of apt quotes that best describe our reality.

According to a Reuters poll conducted shortly after Zelenskyy's departure, only 41% of Americans want Congress to give Kyiv more weapons. Previously, the number was 65%.

To date, the volume of MTA (material and technical assistance) for some ammunition has fallen by 6 times. That's why stories from Avdiivka sound like this: "Mum, I don't know if I'll call you tomorrow. The Russians bring out the first group, we shoot them, they bring out the second group, we shoot them, they bring out the third group, we shoot them, the fourth group comes out, and we run out of ammunition..."

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense had not been sued for overdue arms receivables for a year, and was hiring scamming firms as suppliers, only to find out that there were no mines in Croatia, but they could be brought in... from Cambodia. Don't forget to include airplanes in the logistics instead of cars and ships, you freaks! It was already tried before you.

"The worst thing is that part of the world is used to the war in Ukraine," Zelenskyy says.

No, the worst thing is that part of Ukraine is used to war. The successful counter-offensive last autumn and the return of light and heat have blurred our vision. What happened to Olena Tolkacheva last week was not the excesses of a performer at some third-rate event. This is the third wake-up call. We have pushed the war to the frontline. Just like we did in 2015. And we continue to live normally.

"No one believes in our victory as much as I do. No one. No one," Zelenskyy said.

Believing is not enough. We cannot win the war in Russia symmetrically. There are too few of us.

Yesterday, we had to think about what we could launch to hit Russian warehouses and factories and make it in Ukraine, and not send Basalayeva to Korostyliov, who, after a visit to the president, believed that she would become the new head of the Central Election Committee in the next election.

We may not live to see those elections.

Does inspiring faith in foreign partners take a lot of energy? You just don't know how beautiful it is to cry when gas workers come to you, dump everything that is happening in the industry, mentioning that this did not happen under Yanukovych. And in the end they add: "We're actually ready to spend money on transformers, if only Chernyshev would be taken back to the Ministry of Regional Development."

Do you still have faith in people? Then I can tell you how the office of one MP has been trying to sell the Ministry of Defense helmets that have been shot during tests for several months. Metal helmets...

Don't you want to hear about the 8 hryvnias stolen from each loaf of bread?

"I can't watch this replay for the 10th time" is not only the logic of Americans. I can't watch this program for the 10th time, either. I've been watching it for 20 years. My cortisol reserves have been destroyed.

But "people steal like there's no tomorrow".

They steal with ammunition.

They steal while comfortably living in the Czech Republic.

At the same time, somewhere in the east, a commander is solving an unsolvable problem – there is no ammunition to distribute.

A couple of weeks ago, the ‘reserve’ (exemption from military service) was removed from the employees of the military-industrial complex. When asked who would produce the weapons, the General Staff replied: "We have no one to distribute them to".

Does the President not joke at meetings? I understand him. But the personnel he has recruited are clearly heading in the wrong direction.

"What will happen is that we will lose."

We actually have a very easy choice – to become a legendary country that died or a legendary country that survived. Only this one has no easy solutions.
