The ground is burning under traitors

On April 3, in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the car of collaborator Maksym Zubarev exploded. The explosion occurred on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue, and the injured traitor received medical assistance. The mayor of the city, Ivan Fedorov, reported the car explosion.

“A car malfunction was recorded in Melitopol again. The fan of all communist things was one of the first to collaborate with the enemy and headed the so-called Yakymivka administration. Zubarev has always had problems with choosing the right path, so it is expected that this time he was 'in the wrong place at the wrong time'” the mayor of Melitopol said.

The guerrillas claimed responsibility for the action, promising to reach other traitors. A video was posted online in which representatives of the Melitopol underground claimed to have blown up the car of the 'head' of Yakymivka, Maksym Zubarev. The guerrillas promise to get to the “governor of the Zaporizhzhia region” Yevhen Balytskyi, the “head of the military-civilian administration” of the Melitopol district Andrii Sihuta and the pseudo-mayor Volodymyr Rohov.

Ukraine has launched a counteroffensive

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive is already underway in certain areas. This was emphasized by the CEO of Defense Express information and consulting company – Serhiy Zgurets. However, at the moment it is only about counteroffensive actions in certain areas. A full-fledged counteroffensive by the AFU will begin in late spring.

“We are currently taking complex measures to obtain equipment, train personnel, provide ammunition, and develop the operation. If our partners fulfill their obligations on time, the counteroffensive may begin at the end of the second quarter or beginning of the third one. Although counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already underway in some areas, long-range systems are thinning out the enemy's defense,” Zgurets noted.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian aviation launched 5 strikes on the invading Russian forces' military positions over the past day. Ukrainian defenders also shot down an enemy reconnaissance UAV. Missile and artillery units struck the enemy manpower concentration area.

Polish fighter jets are already in Ukraine

Warsaw has announced the arrival of several Polish MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. The information was made public by the Polish president's foreign affairs adviser Marcin Przydacz

According to him, several Soviet multi-role fighters have already arrived from Poland to Ukraine. Przydacz did not specify how many MiGs had arrived.

“According to my information, this process has already been completed, that is, the delivery of this first part. Of course, there will be talks about possible further support,” Przydacz said.

8,000 Scandinavian shells for the AFU

Instead, it is known exactly what kind of aid Denmark and Norway will provide to the Ukrainian military. We are talking about 8,000 shells. Oslo will send 155-mm artillery shells, and Copenhagen will send appropriate fuses.

“Ukraine has a significant need for artillery ammunition. Norway will contribute where we can. It is important for both Europe's and Norway's security that Ukraine succeeds in standing up to Russia's attack,” Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram said.

The ministry also added that this assistance will complement Denmark's decision to donate 19 Caesar self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine.

Military innovation is a priority for Ukraine

Ukraine will become a leading country in the implementation of innovations in cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructure and the military sphere. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Mykhailo Fedorov.

“We will be the strongest in military-tech, which means everything related to military innovations. We will also develop cybersecurity, any physical security related to innovations, and the protection of critical infrastructure. Ukraine is already developing a competence that is unique in the world,” the deputy prime minister said.

According to Fedorov, it is now important to move from an IT industry that produces products for the world to an IT industry that produces products that are capitalized and worth billions of dollars. It is possible to do this, because today there are many people in Ukraine who are studying in this area.

Meanwhile, later this month, Mykhailo Fedorov will travel to Japan. In a country famous for its technology, the deputy prime minister will talk about how Ukraine has coped with Russian cyberattacks. The summit, which will bring together digitalization ministers, will take place in Japan on April 29-30. The main topic of discussion will be eliminating vulnerabilities in the communications infrastructure.
