Finland may provide Ukraine with Hornet fighter jets

This was stated by Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin.

She noted that Finland is currently awaiting the arrival of new F-35 fighters. Therefore, when the old Hornet fighters are decommissioned in the country, it will be possible to discuss their further use, but not to the detriment of the country's defense capability.

"How will we be able to help [Ukraine]? The matter will be solved through cooperation with all parties involved in foreign and security affairs policy," Marin emphasized.

Two more countries join the coalition for a special tribunal for Russia

The creation of a special tribunal for Russia in connection with crimes in Ukraine is supported by 32 countries.

This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

"Two more countries have joined the Coalition for the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine," he said.

According to Kuleba, 32 states are now working together to bring Russia's top political and military leadership to justice.

Ukroboronprom starts production of 125-mm shells for tanks

The state-owned concern Ukroboronprom, a strategic manufacturer of weapons and military equipment, has begun production of 125-mm shells for tank guns. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The ministry noted that this is the second ammunition that the concern's enterprises have launched in close partnership with a NATO country abroad.

"The first batch of 125-mm shells for T-64, T-72 and T-80 tanks, which the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine use to defeat Russian occupiers, has already been delivered by order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine," the defense ministry said.

For the first time since independence, Ukraine has launched its own production of ammunition – 82-mm and 120-mm mortar shells, 122-mm and 152-mm artillery rounds, and now 125-mm tank shells.

Poland may transfer MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine within a few weeks

Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said that Ukraine could receive Polish MiG-29 fighters within 4-6 weeks.

He said this at a briefing on March 14, when a journalist reminded that Polish President Andrzej Duda had stated that the country was ready to transfer its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.

"This may happen within the next 4-6 weeks," Morawiecki explained.

Today’s decision brings the financial ceiling of the European Peace Facility to over €7.9 billion. Ensuring the financial sustainability of this instrument is crucial for our support not only to Ukraine, but also for our partners in other parts of Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as needs continue to arise," said Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces to continue defense of Bakhmut

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. A decision was made to further hold and defend the city of Bakhmut.
