USA to announce new aid package for Ukraine
The United States is monitoring developments of events in Ukraine and is preparing to announce a new aid package.
Jake Sullivan, adviser to the US president on national security issues, stated this on Monday during a press briefing in the White House, Ukrinform reports.
"Last Friday, we announced the allocation of another $275 million for military support to Ukraine. We will have additional announcements in the coming days," the White House representative noted.
He emphasized that the US continues to monitor the development of events in Ukraine. According to him, Washington wants to be sure that any attempts by the Russian Federation to achieve an advantage both on the battlefield and in the destruction of military infrastructure will be weakened.
"So our attention will be focused on those things that pose a real threat to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," Sullivan emphasized.
