US will do everything possible to help Ukraine liberate its territories including Kherson - Sullivan
The US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan made an unannounced visit to Kyiv and said Washington’s steadfast support would continue
Jake Sullivan stated this at a joint briefing with the head of the Ukraine’s Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak.
“We heard the reports of the commanders regarding Kherson direction. And it is not for me to characterize the situation on the battlefield. However, we must provide Ukraine with everything necessary for these operations to continue,” he said.
The US National Security Advisor emphasized that during his visit to Ukraine, he discussed with the Ukrainian authorities what was needed for offensive operations.
“We discussed how we can support given the challenges that have been identified. And we will do everything we can to help,” Sullivan added.
He assured that regardless of the results of the mid-term elections on November 8, military and financial support for Ukraine will remain "unwavering and unflinching".
