The Voice of America reported the information.
The new package will include Stryker and Bradley armored vehicles that can replace those that were damaged and destroyed during the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
"These top systems, as good as they are, are vulnerable and will need to be replaced, and so it's a reminder that this security provision is not a one-off. This is going to have to continue for the long term," said Bradley Bowman, senior director of the Center on Military and Political Power at Washington-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
A Pentagon spokesperson told Voice of America that Washington is expected to announce the new military aid on Tuesday, June 13.
In addition, the aid will include ammunition for advanced anti-aircraft missile systems (NASAMS) and additional missiles for Ukrainian artillery missile systems (HIMARS).
