We will try to bolster Air Defense Forces of Ukraine — Blinken
During a briefing in Oslo on June 1, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reaffirmed the commitment to provide assistance and support to Ukraine
The briefing was broadcasted on Espreso.
"Our preparations for the Vilnius summit are already underway, focusing on our support for Ukraine in its successful defense against the Russian occupation for the past 15 months. Our key objective is to bolster Ukrainian air defense capabilities and facilitate Sweden's involvement in the NATO family. We recognize the pressing matters at hand and aim to foster unity among all Alliance members and partners. Over the past year and a half, we have witnessed unprecedented solidarity and shared the grief of Ukraine. Since the first day of the full-scale invasion, we have rallied around Ukraine, and our support will persist. We will also continue to enhance the defense capacities of our NATO member countries, and critical next steps will be discussed," stated the Secretary of State.
