US announces new USD 2.1 billion military aid package for Ukraine
The US has announced a new military aid package worth over USD 2 billion, including air defense equipment and ammunition

This is stated on the Pentagon's website.
According to the report, the package is provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
The assistance package includes:
- additional ammunition for Patriot air defense systems;
- HAWK air defense systems and missiles;
- 105-mm and 203-mm artillery shells;
- Puma unmanned aerial systems;
- ammunition for laser-guided missile systems;
- support for training, maintenance and support activities.
“The United States will continue to work with its Allies and partners to provide Ukraine with capabilities to meet its immediate battlefield needs and longer-term security assistance requirements,” the report says.

On June 7, John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the US National Security Council, said that the United States has enough funding to support Ukraine in 2023.
