US State Department spokesman calls on world to intensify military aid to Ukraine
America would like to see an intensification of efforts among the world community to supply Ukraine with the necessary defense aid
The representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, said this during a video briefing.
“We would like countries all over the world to step up, and in some cases continue to actively provide Ukrainian partners with what they need,” he said.
In some cases, it is about replenishing the Ukrainian army with weapons that the Ukrainians already have in their arsenal. And in some cases, it is worth talking about the prospects of providing Ukrainian forces with new types of weapons, Price emphasized.
The representative of the US State Department also noted that Washington does not indicate to allies and partners what exactly needs to be provided to Ukraine.
“This is a sovereign decision of each sovereign state,” he added.
