US senators urge White House to include Russia in list of state sponsors of terrorism
The US Senate once again called on US President Joe Biden and his administration to include the Russian Federation in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

Thus, US senators Lindsey Graham (Republican) and Richard Blumenthal (Democrat) said that they will promote this decision in the US Congress, regardless of whether President Biden supports it.
"I hope the president chooses to take this position voluntarily, and he doesn't take it off the table on state-sponsored terrorism," Sen. Blumenthal said.
In turn, Senator Graham called on Biden to cooperate with Congress on the issue of declaring Russia a terrorist organization.
“I would love to work with the Biden administration. But whether or not we need to pass legislation to make that happen, we're ready to do it. I urge the administration to act now," he said.
Blumenthal also believes the administration should tell Russia that the U.S. is making them outcasts, like Iran and Cuba.
