US promises to speed up weapons delivery to Ukraine
The American Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, has assured his Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksiy Reznikov, that the US will provide additional weapons to Ukraine as soon as possible.

The Pentagon's official website shared the news.
The US Department of Defense informed that Austin discussed with Reznikov the results of the recent meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine and the current security assistance to Ukraine. Among other things, they raised the topic of the recent US commitment to additional highly mobile HIMARS artillery missile systems.
"Secretary Austin reassured Minister Reznikov that the United States is moving as quickly as possible to deliver equipment to Ukraine. Minister Reznikov also provided an update on the situation on the ground. The two leaders agreed to remain in close coordination," the Pentagon said.
