Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said this during the presentation of the US National Defense Strategy.
The Department of Defense has been working hard to transfer the appropriate weapons, Austin says.
"We expect that next month - at the beginning of next month - we will be able to hand over these assets and train the troops," he stressed.
According to him, the United States will continue to make every effort to transfer as much air defense equipment as possible to Ukraine as quickly as possible.
- On October 14, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated that Ukraine could receive NASAMS systems before the end of the month.
