According to WordPress (WP), intelligence indicates Iran's readiness to strike targets in Saudi Arabia using drones and ballistic missiles. The transfer of aircraft was a demonstration of military strength and an illustration of the importance of partnership.
At the same time, the official representative of the central command of the US Armed Forces, Joseph Bucchio, said that the United States is committed to a multi-year strategic military partnership with Saudi Arabia but declined to comment on this information.
"We will not discuss the details of the operation," Bucchio said.
There are about 2.5 thousand US military personnel in Saudi Arabia. It is known that F-22 fighters are also stationed in the region.
