US general orders to prepare for war with China in 2025 - NBC

It is noted that US General and head of the Air Mobility Command Mike Minihan sent a memo to his subordinates. In it, he noted that since both Taiwan and the United States will hold presidential elections in 2024, the United States will be "distracted" and Chinese President Xi Jinping will have the opportunity to attack Taiwan.

In addition, the general outlined his training goals in the memo, including the creation of a "a fortified, ready, integrated, and agile Joint Force Maneuver Team ready to fight and win inside the first island chain." 

The memo was addressed to all Air Mobility Command air wing commanders and other operational Air Force commanders and orders them to report to Minihan on all major efforts to prepare for the battle with China by February 28. 

It is known that the Air Mobility Command has almost 50,000 troops and nearly 500 aircraft and is responsible for transportation and refueling.

China considers democratically governed Taiwan to be its own territory and is increasing military, political, and economic pressure to assert this claim.
