Ukrainian President's Office describes the weapons Ukraine needs to defeat Russia

Podolyak said this in the interview with AFP, France 24 reports.

"We still need 150-200 tanks, about 300 units of armored vehicles, hundred artillery systems, 50-70 multiple missile systems, including formidable American HIMARS, which Ukraine already has, as well as 10-15 anti-missile air defense systems to cover Ukrainian skies", Podolyak said.

He added that Ukraine also needs American ATACMS missiles, which have a range of 300 km, while the range of weapons currently at disposal of Ukrainian Armed Forces barely exceeds 80 km.

According to Podolyak, such missiles would bring the end of war closer and allow Ukraine to destroy large Russian military depots located deep in the occupied areas. He emphasized that Ukraine does not need to attack military targets inside Russia.

"War will end when we regain control over our borders and when Russia will be afraid of Ukraine", Podolyak concluded.
