Ukrainian intelligence monitors movement and preparation of nuclear weapons in Russia
Representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskyi says the agency monitors the movement and preparation of nuclear weapons in Russia
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
"Firstly, we know all storage sites. Secondly, we know the number and location of nuclear weapons of the tactical level. We constantly monitor all movements of all carriers. We follow active measures that may be or are being carried out by the 12th Main Directorate of Russia’s Ministry of Defense. It is responsible for the preparation and delivery of nuclear charges to weapons,” Vadym Skibitskyi said.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has experience in monitoring and reconnaissance of strategic exercises of nuclear forces, which were held since 2014 and earlier.
"We know all the procedural issues. Because of this, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine constantly monitors the nuclear component of the Russian Armed Forces," Skibitskyi added.
