If Putin uses tactical nuclear weapons, he will be physically destroyed - diplomat Yelchenko

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Verdict with Serhii Rudenko program on Espreso TV. 

“The Americans have already explained to Putin very simply and clearly what will happen to the Russian Federation if Putin uses tactical nuclear weapons. Firstly, there will be the physical destruction of Putin, as the USA has the tools and capabilities for this. Secondly, immediately, within 20-30 minutes,the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation will be destroyed. And all military groupings located near the borders of Ukraine. The next step will be strikes on all military bases and strategic objects on the territory of the Russian Federation, including Moscow and the Kremlin,” Yelchenko explained.

The diplomat emphasized that the partners will use only conventional weapons.

“We are not talking about nuclear weapons, but about conventional weapons. Because, unlike the Russian Kinzhal cruise missiles that fall on us, the American Tomahawk cruise missiles and other weapons are more accurate. They hit the target with an accuracy of 15-20 cm. All this was explained to the Russian side. After that, all talks about nuclear weapons on the part of the Russian leadership stopped,” Yelchenko noted.
