Ukraine receives over €150 million in defense funding from Denmark, France, Lithuania
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov says that Ukraine has received over €150 million (UAH 6.5 billion) from Denmark, France, and Lithuania to support its defense industry

Ukraine’s Defense Minister stated that €111 million will be allocated for agreements under the cooperation framework between Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, the Ministry for Strategic Industries, and Denmark's Ministry of Defense to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine with advanced domestically produced weapons.
An additional €29 million grant from the French government will be directed toward enhancing Ukraine’s security and defense.
According to a memorandum between the defense ministries of Lithuania, Ukraine, and the Ministry for Strategic Industries, €10 million will be used to develop Ukraine’s defense industry.
“These funds will specifically go toward the production of missiles, deep-strike drones, and artillery systems. I thank our partners for their critical support and contributions to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” Umerov noted.
- The Greek government has agreed to provide Ukraine with 24 Sea Sparrow missiles from the Greek Navy and Air Force stockpiles that were deemed unnecessary for operational use.
