Partisans torch two locomotives in Moscow region bound for occupied Ukraine
On the night of December 30, guerrillas destroyed two locomotives in Russia’s Moscow region that were to be sent to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine
The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported the information.
According to him, at 2:10 a.m. (Moscow time), members of the Mariupol resistance movement set fire to a newly refurbished EP2D-0014 electric train at the Dmitrov station in the Moscow region, Russia. The train was scheduled to be sent to the occupied territories of Ukraine following major repairs at the Dmitrovsky Machine-Building Plant (DMZ).
“It didn’t work out. The lead car of the electric train was completely destroyed by fire. The cost of a single car is 50 million rubles,” the post states.
Additionally, at 3:20 a.m. (Moscow time), an act of sabotage was carried out with the arson of a diesel locomotive at the Lobnya depot in the Moscow region. Preliminary reports indicate that the locomotive sustained irreparable damage.
