Russian forces to launch offensive on Pokrovsk if Kurakhove falls - military analyst

"Currently, Kurakhove is in a pocket. Kostiantynopil is a settlement located on the Kurakhove-Zaporizhzhia road, that is, to the west of Kurakhove. That is where Russia's efforts are currently focused from the south. The distance from Kostiantynopil to Kurakhove is about 15 kilometers," noted Popovych.

According to the military expert, if the Russians capture Kurakhove and force us to withdraw from there, they will begin to reinforce and it will be clear that the next target will be Pokrovsk.

"Pokrovsk is postponed for the time being, if Russians achieve its goal with Kurakhove. I won’t predict when this might happen, but if Russia succeeds with Kurakhove, then the offensive on Pokrovsk will begin," Popovych suggested.

• On Tuesday, November 12, 162 combat clashes were recorded on the front. Russian forces are most actively advancing in the Donetsk region, on the Kurakhive and Pokrovsk sectors.
